Kia ora this is Ruavai Speaking today you are gonna be going through something. Private, I would say but uh… we’re making our own songs Wow and Boo. I was thinking hard about what kind of songs I could write and the different genres.

Community impact project

Kia ora bloggers today I'm back with another blogpost as always. Today we were just finishing off our project about recycling pens and that you can reuse them. Our goal is to get the whole school to give us used up markers and pens. Then we are gonna donate it to terracycle to take out the stuff inside and put new stuff in like ink. Each Kg we send them they send us money back so if we sent them 1 Kg they will give us one dollar back as a sign of them being grateful. Kia ora my peoples today I am writing about our music lessons that we have been having for the last couple of weeks. We are learning about the Instrument family how there are all sorts of family's like the string family or brass family I will be writing about different types of music. We have music sessions on Mondays, and Thursday's Period 4 & 5

First 

Our first one is a old classic One it is called an Orchestra. an Orchestra is a group of people who play and perform in front of heaps of people's and play heaps of different instruments. and parts such as Trumpets, violins, brass, and a person who conducts a person who conducts is somebody who leads the music or control how they play there instruments with a stick.

Second

Brass a brass is a musical instrument that produces sound by sympathetic vibration. of air let me explain it in a easier way what I mean is. The instrument can make sound of a vibration in the air. Like if you blow into it or something?

Third 

Woodwind are a type of musical instrument that makes sound when you 

blow into the mouth peice provided.

Fourth

Percussion instruments include any instrument that makes a sound when it is been hit or shacken or scraped.

Last 

The string family a string instrument is a musical that makes sound by vibrating the 

strings on it. Like a guitar or bass maybe a ukulele.

Community Impact Project

Hello my name is Ruavai. Today for our Community Impact Project We’re researching. What’s so important about trees. I researched something about tree’s obviously prevent Oxygen for us to Breathe. we’re going to Charlesworth Reserve Next week on Wednesday. We’re going to plant 2 Million Trees, what we're trying to do is plant native trees. For the native birds to come back I hope this is helpful.
